In 2025, Nisar Foundation launched the Old Newspaper & Scrap Collection Unit—a simple yet powerful initiative to raise funds by collecting and selling scrap and newspapers. What began with a modest Rs. 1,000 in its first year has grown into a vibrant, volunteer-driven program that supports students with notebooks, textbooks, and career resources.
Today, a dedicated team of 01 staff and numerous volunteers manage the drive, often serving as the first point of contact between the Foundation and its generous donors. This initiative not only raises funds but also promotes sustainability by repairing and donating reusable items to those in need.
